Passionate fans of the actress are urging that a individual who jumped a fence and grabbed the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be taken into custody or removed from Singapore.

A widely shared video depicts the person identified as Johnson Wen shoving aside photographers and charging at Grande while the cast proceeded down a yellow carpet surrounded by fans.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo promptly pulled the surprised performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the event by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "let go after being arrested", though court documents showed that he was scheduled to be present on Friday morning. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

Record of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Troll Most Hated", has disrupted a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account features videos of him disrupting other high-profile occasions, including rushing the platform at Katy Perry's Sydney performance in June this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers event in the area last year.

"There needs to be action applied against him as this is evidently a legal violation," commented an Instagram follower, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his actions.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user questioned.

Fans Express Concern Over Ariana's Past Trauma

Many fans accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had discussed suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after a devastating incident at the finale of her 2017 performance in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and wounding hundreds.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented a further comment on Instagram.

A number of attendees also criticised event staff at the Thursday event for not being vigilant enough; while different individuals demanded digital services to ban Mr Wen's content.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande looked shocked when she was grabbed by the individual. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen consoling her while Mr Wen was led out by security.

Grande has not issued a statement on the event, and the rest of the event carried on uninterrupted.

Numerous of fans had congregated in a sea of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good regional premiere in a Singapore mall, including some who had waited for as long as a significant duration before it started.

The motion picture, to be launched on November 21, is the second of a dual version of the well-known stage musical Wicked, which revolves around the unexpected friendship between two very different characters.

The musical itself is a derivative of the classic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the good witch Glinda, was dressed in a rosé glittering gown at the event while Erivo, who portrays the villainous character, wore a black tube gown decorated with roses.

They were joined by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful movie of 2024 in the UK, and scored ten Oscar nominations, winning two for best costume and artistic direction.
